SMS / Text Messaging Terms

These SMS Terms describe HELM, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“HELM,” “we,” “us,” “our”)’s text-messaging program and supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We send texts only to phone numbers for which we have consent. At signup (or wherever we collect your number) you may opt in to transactional texts and, separately, to marketing texts. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.

2. Types of messages

  • Transactional — booking requests, confirmations, reminders, payment and payout updates, and messages about your account or events.
  • Marketing (only if you separately opt in) — promotions, re-engagement, and offers.

3. Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. HELM does not charge for the messages themselves, but your carrier may.

4. Opting out and help

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further texts.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@itshelm.com.

Opting out of transactional texts may affect your ability to receive important booking updates.

5. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier availability and your device.

6. Program details

This is the HELM messaging program, operated by HELM, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“HELM,” “we,” “us,” “our”). Messages are sent from a number registered to HELM under the A2P 10DLC standard and delivered through our messaging provider, GoHighLevel.

  • Who can receive messages. You must be at least 18 and the subscriber or customary user of the number you give us.
  • When we send. Transactional messages are sent when the event they describe happens — a booking confirmation, a payment notice, or a request to update your profile is sent at the moment it occurs, including outside normal hours. We do not send marketing texts.
  • We do not sell your number. HELM does not sell or rent mobile numbers, and does not share the phone numbers or consent information collected for this program with third parties for their own marketing. Our messaging provider processes them only to deliver messages on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy.
  • Records. We keep an auditable record of your consent — including what you opted into, when, and the version of these terms in effect — and we honor opt-outs across the entire program, not just the message you replied to.

7. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms. The “last updated” date reflects the latest revision.
